About Preschool story time

All sessions are FREE and instructed by the School Librarian

Participate in an interactive read-aloud and create a corresponding "craftivity." Children will be encouraged to explore various experiential extension centers, including dramatic play, sensory exploration, and STEAM creativity (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)

All sessions are designed to extend learning from the read-aloud, focused on developing early literacy skills, and promoting social-emotional learning.

Meet Our Librarian

CHRISTEN BROWN has worked in public, academic, and school libraries; she has over a decade of experience working with children and families. She attends Indiana University / Purdue University, working towards her Masters in library and information science specializing in youth services and school media and technology. Her favorite books are the Harry Potter series.
