Lower & òòò½Íø Week

OCTOBER 28 - NOVEMBER 1

We are excited to announce that we will be celebrating our second annual Be Strong Week in the Lower and Middle Schools beginning Monday, October 28! What is the purpose of this week? It is to discover truths about bullying, learn strategies of how to handle situations, and to be motivated to make changes to create safe spaces in our community not only at òòò½Íø but St. Matthews and Louisville as a whole.

The following theme days will help spread awareness of some key ideas of Be Strong so we hope that you actively participate!

Monday, October 28: Wear Red

Show the love for yourself and others by wearing the Red Ribbon week signature color.

Tuesday, October 29: Mismatch Day

Why is your shirt on backwards? Why are you wearing plaid with polka dots? It's a mashup of fashion and expectations on Mismatch Day. Be proud of your individuality!

Wednesday, October 30: òòò½Íø Wear

Bust out your òòò½Íø pride gear because it's time to show off your school spirit! Go Wolverines!

Thursday, October 31: PJ Day

Rub that sleep out of your eyes and come on in to school! We all need to take care of ourselves and today is no different.

Friday, November 1: Superheroes

Maybe it’s Superman or Wonder Woman, or maybe its a doctor or firefighter, but we all have heroes in our life that we strive to be like! Today is the day to celebrate heroes big and small that impact our lives.
